Thank you guys. Well I had the Spipe and headers, I was just waiting for the gaskets and oil change kit. I'm gonna wait 1-3 months before I get my car from the dealer, then install the mods

As an aside, I failed my sniffer test (california) miserably, and ended up going with a "guy" for $300 to get my smog done so I could register my new car. It was touch and go, and very stressful with the shadiness. Next time, I'm not going to be lazy and just throw the stock stuff on for smog. This is with the Euro header and DKF section 1 with 300 cell cats.
I was doing mechanical work once and my tool somehow made contact with a power and ground. Scared and shocked me. So now I always disconnect the battery.

Fair point - it never hurts to play it safe. As an aside, is there any kind of anti-theft code for the Navi/audio system on the Z4M if I disconnect the battery? I do have my bluetooth code, but on my other car, the radio itself has a code for anti-theft reasons.

No code issues for radio. I've disconnected my battery 100X.

Have any of you guys who have installed headers used a gasket spray adhesive to help keep the six header gaskets in place during installation? If so, what type did you use?

I just did mine this week. They almost jiggled off on me but I got both headers on, first try without any gaskets falling off. I also had a second pair of hands under the car helping me get the headers into position though.
