FEELER: TPMS Sensors

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I won't be needing my TPMS sensors anymore and was wondering if anyone would be interested. They're the valve-stem version, which mount inside your wheel, under the tires and acts as a valve stem itself. EAS sells the sensors for $220 + tax (if applicable) + shipping/handling.
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1851

I suppose I'll ask for $135 SHIPPED total for my set? I lost one of the caps to the valve stem portion. Was checking tire pressures one day, and one of the caps got misplaced somewhere. I was never able to find it

I'm using aftermarket valve-stems which are color-coded to match my wheels a bit, and I didn't personally prefer the super long valve stem which is inherent on the sensors. Plus, the tire pressure light on dash doesn't bother me.

Excuse you? After what you just said...Does it enlarge your e-penis or tickle your e-balls any farther if I inform you of the fact that I track my car often, and that the aftermarket valves I'm using actually make it easier for me personally to check my tire pressures?
It's not like the TPMS sensors do anything other than tell you that the tire pressures have changed from the last time you reset the system anyhow

Having dismantled the factory TMPS and installed the aftermarket valves, I honestly believe that the aftermarket valves will do a better job @ consistently holding pressure.

I really don't appreciate your ASSumptions of me sir, and your tone coming into my thread (especially since you don't know me well, and obviously don't have anything nice to say)

The sensors have already been sold, so pease kindly show yourself out of this thread

IC
That was one thing I liked about my '06 M roady.
The TPMS wasn't 'in tire'

I'm actually driving around with no sensors and NO low pressure light, go figure. I still want them installed for my next tire change

That's because you have an '06, your car doesn't use 'in tire' sensors.
For 2006 the TPM was a function of the ABS

Chill...I only meant it as a joke since you mentioned that you got "color-matching" aftermarket valve.
