considering a set of miro m6 reps - help?
was scouring the local craigslist and found a set of miro m6 reps listed for sale in san antonio for $750. details:
these came off an 07 e90 328i with 29,000 miles and the set of rims were mounted in nov '08 at about 9,000 miles. the originals came with general exclaim uhps all round from **********s, but the seller had a flat from a pothole in january, thus switching out both fronts for brand new nexen n3000s (probably from the dealership). my concerns here are:
also, here's a pic of a fellow zposter's interlagos m coupe with m6 reps (unsure if they're 18s or 19s). yay/nay |

As one of the hottest wheels in the BMW community today, these M6 wheels look great on just about any car. The beautiful five spoke design provides an elegant, yet aggressive look, just as they were originally intended to be for BMW's V10 M6. The nature of the wheel also allows them to appear larger than they actually are which gives your car a meaner stance. Why buy used when you can get a brand new set of wheels for a little more? You'll have the peace of mind of knowing that the wheels weren't abused and of course are brand new without any curb rash. The setup listed above is actually incorrect for the Z4M Coupe as well. The setup that you would need is the 19x8.5 ET35 with a 235/35/19 in the front and the 19x9.5 ET22 with a 275/30/19 in the rear. I'll go ahead and shoot you over a PM with more details!

^thanks, have decided against them. the set was as described but seller had misinformed me about nexen front tires. instead, they're not even z-rated tires and are from some non-descript manufacturer i don't remember the name of. rims themselves were in poor physical condition with a lot of delamination and peeling around the edges and bmw roundel area. the front right rim that had a pothole encounter was bent noticeably and had extensive curb rash. not impressed with the quality of reps, but i do understand the universal 'u pay for what u get'.
going to be sticking with the oem 224's since i've just applied a layer of klasse aio on them |
