No, it is not from evolve. You can not buy such a box with possibility to use the original MAF. I designed it for myself and my Carbon builder made 5 pieces of this boxes.

Is that actualy an AC diffuser or a replica?
IIRC AC didn't have carbon exhaust cut outs....

I owned the AC diffuser on my prior Z4M, and I'm pretty sure this is a replica. A couple things don't look the same, but of course they could have changed things during production. Funny thing is, this looks better than the one I had. I think the weave is more pronounced.

If this is a copy, fit is crap sorry Racing, but you keep posting on here and I could only keep my mouth shut for so long.
Extremely unhappy with our transaction mate, both with your payment through PayPal with non refundable option and with your product, and with your attitude towards fixing my concerns. Sorry guys, steer well clear of this seller.

I deleted most of the PMs he sent me, but I still have this one remaining from when I inquired about the supposed authentic AC one he had. He wrote:
"Hello Nicky, thanks for you interest! I can offer you the Schnitzer Diffusor for 2000 Euro. But i can offer you something else: I have good condition at a carbon factory. They will make a replica for 1500 Euro. This replica will have a better quality than the original. i bought one replica. If you want to, i can one more for you. I will get the replica in the end of februar. So you can think about it. best greetings from germany. Andreas" I remember saying that it was waaaay too much for not only the authentic piece, but also for the replica. I believe he came back with a price of the replica for like 1000-1200 Euro (then followed up again a couple months later or something). It all just seemed way too off for me at the time, so I ignored it. Hopefully this is all on the up and up, but with Vanne chiming in about his bad experience, the seller certainly needs to explain what is going on here. If he's selling a replica that's fine, but I don't see him mentioning in this thread that it's a replica. I could tell right away the carbon looked different than the authentic AC one I got, and seller then even mentioned he put an extra layer on it or whatever. |

NickyC I remember you were selling your beautiful Imola Red Z4MR and I was so close to buying it but CapitalOne came through too late or something like that. Ended up getting a black one. Anyway, I do remember your AC CF diffuser, it does look different from the one being sold on this set. Vanne, I'm sorry you went through that with this seller. Thanks for warning us!
