You can also contact www.leatherz.com, as they specialize in leather for BMW's Z-series car and do custom interiors and bits. They can order complete or half hides for a project. The owners are pretty responsive on the forums as well.

already did, they make their own leather and I want oem one as it wont lose its color because the tech bmw uses to protect their leather

leatherz will mail you a free sample of the leather so you can compare yourself. In the case of my car with Dream Leather interior, LeatherZ's leather was completely different in terms of weight, texture, and appearance. It was a similar red. not exact.

Thanks for the info, guys. It's been years, but I could've sworn that sourced BMW hides; I asked about getting Imola Red leather for a seat re-do and was told BMW no longer produced the color. Maybe I'm mis-remembering...
