I've only seen them on Z4Ms where you can easily put them in the mesh in the rear bumper, I think ron stygar has one installed search the other bimmer forums. EAS sells a kit:

Hi, as promise, here is some picture and how I did it.
I actually retrofit a chinese GPS that sold on Ebay for about 90 bucks into my OEM navigation case, it has many function without high cost! such like bluetooth phone, GPS navigation, AV-in(for back up camera) and video and music player. this is how it looks like after retrofit, IMPORTANT. the Chinese GPS is 7" and the case is 6.5" I think, i spent lots time to make it 7" due to I dont have much tool. here is the GPS that sold on Ebay, quality is better than what I expected. http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-Car-GPS-Na...#ht_5821wt_982 I disconnect the battery that with the GPS it self, that may explode in my car... you know what I mean and connect the power bottom to the OEM case bottom. here is the backup camera I bought from ebay. just ok quality...but not recommend, its ugly on the plate, not good at waterproof, poor images source ,Im looking for a better one now that can mount into bumper. cost around 100 I think... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Rearview...ht_6873wt_1004 its very easy to install, remove your taillight, no matter which one, I took off the driver side. then remove your licence plate light to make a room for back up camera cable go through, it is a little difficult part that you need to use some special tool to get your cables come out from the taillight place inside of the bumper. after you have done it, connect the red wire to the reverse light and black to car body.it will work automatically when you are reversing ether GPS and camera. we are almost there I borrow a picture form z4 forum(thank you OP ) to show you how to hide your video cable to the centre console green is where the video cable come from trunk, yellow is the direction of where it goes to the console. Because I really like to keep my car looks clean, even thought I have much aftermarket stuff installed, but I dont wanna see wires everywhere. form this method, you can hide the video cable all the way to the dash board. camera was cover by salt... so a little not clear. Toronto winter... Hope you guys found it useful. Jony |

Any issues? Where did you install it? Their site states that it works for 2003-2006. Mine is an 08, I've asked them to confirm that it will work.

I'm in the process of looking for a front and backup camera solution. After investigating numerous options, I've narrowed it down to the Nav Tool interface. It has two video inputs with a reverse brake light connection and a switch for switching between sources. For the cameras I've chosen to go with Kenwood CMOS 310. The 310 is expensive but I like the 180 degree view, option to be a front or rear camera, remote control and multi view options.
