Well, I think that these are great days to be performance car enthusiasts. There are lots of performance alternatives out there and the Nissan 370Z is just another great choice. I think that it is supposed to be much lighter than the old 350Z, shorter too. I think that it looks fine. There are certainly worse ways to get from point A to B.

I think thats the coolest thing going for the car. Also it is something you can turn on or off. So you can still get good at heel-toe if you wish.

I often blip the throttle when downshifting (not heal and toe) under normal driving conditions just to get a really smooth downshift, so I don't need the car to do it. I would like to check that feature out to see how well it works.

Rev matching and downshift is 50% of the fun when driving a manual so i don't see why let the car do it urself. I just learned manual one month ago when i got my car and now i am improving and could do good downshift and rev match most of the time. Making perfect downshift is really rewarding.

Speaking of performance its not like the 350z weighs a ton its actually similiar weight as our cars but it doesn't drive and feel like a proper sports car. On the other hand the cheaper and less powerful rx8 feels like a true sports car.
I have to agree with you Mikewarlover about the sports car handling. Having driven several 350z and owned an RX8 and now an ///M Coupe...the RX8 and ///M actually handle in a very similar way...IMHO the 350Z on the other hand does feel like a lumbering boat compared to either of them. I would never own one...the handling just isn't acceptable.

I think it looks great... one of the best designs to come out of Japan since the NSX. I don't care for the rev-matching (that's what I'm for)... but other than that, great looking car.

350Z: Step in the right direction, improved over time.
370Z: Right direction. ~Z4M-esque performance for a bargain.

FTR: 350Z is 1-200lbs heavier than a Z4M due to the fact that it's stated kerb weight is heavier and IIRC, measurement uses another system. 370Z is a little heavier, not much.

Went to my local Nissan dealer lastnight and they left the key in the little box that some dealerships hang on the window. What a bunch of dumbasses. I sat there in it, started it, reved it, but didnt move it. It has intelli-key, they should know that they should not hang an intelli-key on the window of a vehicle thats equiped with such technology. LOL.

Looks better in person but I still perfer the 350z because it is more funcitional, more cargo area and such. Just my $.02

LOL, thought about a couple doughnuts in an untainted parking lot with it but I figured they had cameras there. Wasnt going to leave the premisis with it though. But then thought about how highly illegal it was for me even to start the car. Cops will try and get ya for anything down here.

its not a big deal i mean they give u cars for test drive right? Permission or with out really shouldn't be a issue. I mean i was able to test drive a 135 alone for a long time and wasted quater tank of gas so why would they try to trouble to just to start the car haha.

It's illegal in Texas to leave a car parked with the keys in it. So, technically, they would have been in violation

while i personally wouldn't own a Z of any shape or form, i can respect the bargain for what you get out of it. and all of you saying that the 370 is ugly, while it DEFINITELY is NOT pretty, it looks MUCH better in person than in pictures....its kinda like facebook, sometimes the girls that look hot in pictures....not so good looking in person. think opposite for the 370. all and all.....i still like my MC much better :]
