Wanted to intro myself to everyone. My name is Myke, and I'm an absolute BMW fanatic. Thought I'd introduce my new ride, 2006 with 4k miles, picked up today:

Wow only 4K miles! I just got my 07 M Coupe about 2 months ago with little over 5K miles and I thought that was ridiculously low. You got yourself a pratically a new M! The color combo is gorgeous too. Congrats and enjoy!

Have a dealer check the motor mounts, and I would change fluids for age, but YMMV.

Well this car will def. get a few things, but since it's my daily I'm going to try and keep it more low key. You never know though, once you get the mod bug...

Haha, don't think I'd ever consider an X6M to be honest. If I had to go SUV-ish I'd probably go for a X5 4.6/4.8is. Or the new X3is/M X6 night be something to consider.

Personally, I still want an E39 M5, E36 M3, and Z3 M coupe... maybe one day...

I really did get lucky with the car. It did have the stupid BMW Assist issue, but I fixed that myself; so it's no biggie. Next is iPod control and a little "lite
modding.

Sup, M? Javi told me you had the same combo on a MC... I had no idea! I also looked at a IB/Sepang car, but it was sold by the time I got to the dealer. I think it was for the best, though!

mykmyk (myke i'm presuming), is ur m roadster cpo-ed? i got my 06 about two months back in houston with 12.7k miles on the clock and they cpo-ed it even before putting it on the lot! considering how mechanically simple and historically reliable the m's are, probably didn't need cpo....

You're right, it is Myke.

No mine is just outside of its warranty (of course). I'd like to see if I have any options from BMW/the dealer given its low low mileage, but I may just hope for the best and keep it maintained.

Thank you. While I am looking forward to doing a little modding again on this car, it wont be nearly as involved as my other two cars (as it is my daily). But you got to have a little fun....
