M Roadster 2008 Imola Red (4300 miles) for Sale

Hello,

I am selling my M Roadster 2008 Imola Red, it has 4300 miles - 6900kms on odometer. I am original owner, the car was custom ordered, purchased and serviced at the same BMW dealer in Toronto, Canada. It has all of the available options that were offered back then at the factory (except for extended leather)

This car is collector and car enthusiast' dream as no one on this planet has a car in the same condition as mine. This car is brand new.

I am asking $ 101000 Canadian or $76000 USD.

Please contact me directly if interested.

Great example of a Z4MR time capsule, best on the planet, hmmm, I know of more than one with less <10k miles that look like new too. Curious how you came up with the price since the highest price ever on Bring A Trailer was $45k USD. Z4MRs sold on BAT

Just so you know, zpost has a classified section for listing cars for sale. Classified forum

Hope you can get closer to your asking price, glws

show me another car with less than 5000 miles, original owner, with all service records and clean driving record and I will be pleasantly surprised.

It does not matter what the highest price paid was, there is no car like this one on the market

You're delusional if you don't think there are other cars like yours that periodically come to market. I agree that yours appears to be a great low mileage example, but claiming it's the best on the planet therefore asking an unrealistic price

Do you really think your <5k mile car is worth well over double this 10k mile pristine example? 2006 Z4MR

For that money I’d buy a brand new current generation Z4 with all the modern amenities, 380 hp and the full warranty coverage.

No need to call names or provide psychological assessments, very low class of you.
no comparison between 2006 and 2008 model years, 2008 model year was the last year of z4m production, also, no comparison in mileage. Exterior and interior colors are subjective of course, but I would not have picked those colors personally. And on top of that, that car is sold so it is a moot point. They could have sold it for way more.

Regarding new z4 that you can buy, that car will never be a collector's item
absolutely no comparison to an old school classic that z4m is

Another automatic transmission cruiser with warranty. I would rather buy a Toyota variant with a manual transmission.

A Z4M in Imola red is a car I’d love to have and yours is a beautiful example of it to be sure. My only quibble is the price. But hey- if you find a buyer then bobs your uncle!

Very nice example of an M Roadster.
Navigation = take some money off
Ultra low mileage, garage queen = take some money off
License plate holder on front bumper = take some money off

Just saying

If only it has the extended leather option..

I'm in the group that think the price is a bit ridiculous, but more power to you if you can sell it. I suspect it will be a long drawn out process if you ever sell it for this amount. Someone is going to really have to want this specific example to store for another couple of decades. Not to mention the additional hassle of importing it if the potential buyer is in the US.

EAG has a '07 Z4MC with ~15k miles for almost $20k less.

Couple things I took notice when I got my coupe. Nav is great for option value, If the car is totaled insurance will pay out more for the valued option. But when it comes to the collector 90% would probably prefer it not being there, as you can see from every listing here that has nav. My 03 no nav, coupe nav and honestly take it or leave it doesn’t bother me as the screens down most of the time anyway.

Also regardless if the buyer is in a place with front plates or not, holes in the bumper cover bring the collector value down. I really wish for any car of this nature dealers would pony up $20 for a tow hitch receiver plate mount no drilling required.

https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1349360

Why didn’t it sell in ‘17 when you were thinking about it then? On boards such as this with enthusiastic as you are with the car why didn’t you enjoy driving it more? I’m 3rd owner on both my 03&07 and the second owner on my 07 had it since 09 and I got it from them with only 32k on it. My 03 had 64k when I got it in ‘11 and 109k on it now. It’s a shame really you didn’t get to enjoy it as much as many here would/do.
It is a gorgeous car you have.

Quite a price drop, from $100K US to $76K US. Stop back again when you get into the $40K's.

And please post for sale ads in the for sale section, k thx.

Sorry if the truth hurts, but now that I see you've been trying to sell this for 6 years, that kinda explains it. Attempted to sell in 2017

BTW, I've been following the market on these for many years and the difference in value between 2006-2008 is negligible, they're nearly identical.

For reference, when valuing a car for sale, you go by the comps, that's why I mentioned the pristine 10k mile Z4MR that sold for $37k a few months ago, so NO it's not a moot point

I suspect this post will peter out and will pop again in 6 year intervals.

Agreed, it's interesting he would say "no comparison between 2006 and 2008 model years, 2008 model year was the last year of z4m production". The only thing an 08 has over an 06 is an aux input for the radio. Nothing else changed in the 3 yrs of production. I would expect almost no difference between the price of a 5k mile 06 and 5k mile 08. 76k is pretty laughable (Imola over black is nice but pretty common. I suspect a white over red would be a lot more desirable - and valuable). I have the same car as the OP (without navigation and with aluminum trim) with under 21k and have no illusions I would get more than around $30k for it if I was lucky.

It's funny, back in 2017 when he talked about selling the first time. I sent a private message telling him people were asking about the car in his thread. He never answered my PM, but did come back and give the $100k price at that time. I got a PM yesterday saying he had posted info and had no idea where the message came from since it was a reply to my 6yr old PM. LOL

Perhaps the OP is confused and thinks he has a Z3 M Coupe at that money. Even the nicest Z4 M Coupe hasn't come close. 3000 units in NA, won't see that price for 15+ years maybe. It's funny the Ford GT guys think their car is rare and special, yet they made 4000 of those.

That's what I was thinking, it's not even a coupe. The M roadster, while nice, isn't exactly something super special. I'd much rather have an Z4MC non nav with more miles and for much less. Heck I could buy an M coupe and a M roadster for less and have the best of both worlds.

PLUS you get to actually drive and enjoy them without the worry of depreciation!
