Few questions for the enthusiasts!
Folks,
I'm sure this has been discussed at one point or another, but does anyone know how much the OEM M coupe wheels weigh? Also, I've seen a few cars on the forum with short, stubby antennas. What is the best one to have, without sacrificing signal strength, and where can I get one? Thanks! |

Can't comment on the wheel weight -
Best place to find a stubby is Mangowalk - you can find them on eBay or www.mangowalk.com. Your reception (FM) will not be affected - the primary FM antenna is buried behind the rear bumper (fender?). I have a 1.4" CF stubby, and on the infrequent occasions that I use FM, I have had no problems. I have heard that AM reception, on the other hand, may be somewhat compromised.

I believe if you find crfines build thread you will find the wheel weights in there among with a grocery list of mods you'll want to do.

Changing to a stubby antenna effects AM only, the FM antenna is behind the rear bumper.
