Lens recomendations
I have a Canon 80D with the 18-135 EF-S USM lens. I do product photography, video, landscapes and so on.
I was thinking venture into a wide angle lens and some prime lenses. Anyone have any recommendations? |

With your current set up, I'd go with the Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens to complete the wide end of your glass spectrum. For product photography, you'll want to throw some bokeh occasionally, so something like the EF 40mm f/2.8 STM pancake could fill that roll and still be easy on your pocket. (There are a number of possibilities in this range. Don't get suckered into a bunch of primes. One, special-purpose, is usually enough).
Using these zooms, you'll want to use Digital Lens Correction, during your RAW conversion, to correct for the inevitable geometric distortions of these inexpensive zooms. Canon's Digital Photo Professional has DLO, as does Lightroom and DxO, plus some others. It's key to getting really sharp images. I use it with my expensive L-series lenses and can see the improvement easily. In general, the less expensive your lens, the more that you need DLO. Let us know what you do.

Here's how it performs on my 80D @ ISO400, 10mm, f4.5, 1/5s exposure

I also recommend the Sigma 35mm 1.4. Older Sigma lenses aren't anything to write home about, but they really stepped up their quality with the ART Series lenses.

I find that a 100 macro is essential for product photography. You may not want to invest in a 100L/IS but there are clean used ones out there.

I have a 70D also with your same 35 - 135mm "kit" lens. I like it. But I also have a few of the lens, that the others have recommended here in this thread.
I have the Canon 10 - 18mm lens, and I really like it. It was cheap when I bought it two years ago for 200 euros. Now I think they are around 280 euros. I would really recommend this lens for those super wide angle shots. I also have the Canon 50mm 1.8 STM lens. It was dirt cheap at something like 100 euros off of Amazon.de. Also bought it two years ago. I hardly use it. And I have the 24mm f2.8 STM lens, this lens I really have not used very much. I always hear everyone RAVES about Sigma's 24-70mm F1.8. Its not cheap, but I think it might be perfect for what you need. Btw... I really like Tony & Chelsea Northrup's YT channel.
