Explanation of your user name (if you dare to share)

So after being on the post for a little over a year, I realized my user name is a little lame.
I just used the default user name from my job. As it turns out I seem to spend a great deal of time on this site and I should have come up with something more creative.

crfine88

C= my first initial
R= wifes first initial
Fine= my last name
88= lucky numbers

So now tell me what yours is all about.

Im in the process of changing mine to MvertDoug. Self explanatory

Mousitch was just a nickname I had from the blisters I got from online gaming(two day tournaments when I was in my late twenties). It was intense. Glad I'm out of that. Too much time wasted. But every now and then one of the Calls' Of Duty I own beckons.

On the way to North Carolina, for a white water kayak trip, I was being poked and proded by those in the back seat with much delight, as I jumpped each time. Then someone said, "Steve, you are all Shaky like an old Dog"

It has stuck with me since then...

Figured the "R" was middle initial and couldn't guess the "88".

Have to admit… every time I see your user name I read it as "mustache".

Mine's pretty uncreative.
NMU = Northern Michigan University (where I went to college)
LAX = Lacrosse; I played for my college Sophomore through Senior year.

Cool - went to MTU for one year, then MSU. To this very day, we still go back to the UP for a fall camping trip each year... When I was at MTU, the closest Taco Bell was Marquette - we did the almost 200 mile Taco Bell round trip a few times....was a crazy time....

Mine's pretty obscure - came about years ago when I was real heavy into mountain biking and was a mechanic at a bike shop. I had (and still have) a Giant carbon fiber MTB, model MCM one, and at the time I had a blue RockShox SID suspension fork - higher end cross country gear. Some how, I put that togehter and it has stuck for years. Makes perfect sense to me...

I try to change my avatar weekly. Just for fun. Thinking of the classic Hasselhoff and Coleman pic from the 80's. So corny.

I wish I would have been in good shape enough to play LAX. I love watching it on ESPN. Can be downright brutal at times. I tried to walk on at MU for LB but it was not to be.

Mine isn't the greatest, made it when i was still in school around grade 9.

Like the X Factor, except my names Jerome so... The__J__Factor was made.
It was the same as my email address and i use the same name in about 50+ forums.

So pretty impossible for me to change it now and remember which forums are what login.

My nickname in junior-high school was "wild man". It was an endearing term, because I was not very wild. I refused to use that as my online name.

Everyone in my extended family is a Texas A&M Aggie. I was destined, and did, graduate from Texas A&M. When I was in junior high, trying to come up with a good online name, my mom suggested "wildag". A combination of "wild" and "aggie".

Wildag has been my online name since 1994. The only other person I've seen use that name was a woman named "Wilda Gregory" (or WildaG).

Yeah, Junior year I snapped my index–ring metacarpals, and after that blew-out my shoulder

I had to ask my wife how to pronounce it. She said, duh, Integrator--how hard is that? Must be an interesting job!

Funny. Thought maybe you had a dog though.

Mine is the name of our old huge (19 pound) orange tabby cat who died last year at age 21. His full name was Finnegan Francis O'Malley--named Finnegan after James Joyce's Finnegan's Wake. (The wife and I were English majors.) Honestly, I just liked the name, it wasn't common, and I started using it about 12 years ago on the internets, and have logins all over the place with that name. I used to have Finnegan as my avatar, but I really miss that old guy, and can't bring myself to go back to him as an avatar just yet. Maybe some day....

My current avatar is our Jack Russell Abby--best Jack Russell in the world (calm, relaxed), speed demon, and lover of fast cars. (She refused to get in my daily beater one day and insisted she wanted to ride in the 911 turbo she found in the parking lot instead--dog has expensive taste in cars...). Her speed and agility and build (long, muscular, athletic) actually remind me a bit of the Z4M!

916SP is the model name of a DUCATI motorcycle I own.

Ducati made a limited number (54) of this model designated 916 SP(A) (Sport Production America) in 1996. The bike was built to homologate the 955cc motor for AMA Superbike racing.

Here she is....

I think mine just came to me one day in high school probably 10+ years ago. Random eureka moment I guess, if you could call it that. "de" + "caliber" doesn't make one bit of sense if you think about the actual meanings. I guess I liked it at the time because it had some seemingly insidious undertones.

Every since I moved to IL though, people have been asking me if I'm from Dekalb county.

Mine rhymes with my last name (Hussey). I just modified the spelling in honor of my cherished Z4.

Cheers!!

Mine is Blind because I used to Skateboard a long time ago. Blind Skateboards was my favorite brand. The 32 was for 32-bit computers. I've had this username for a longgggg time. I used to be the only Blind32 but seems like more are popping up or people are just trying to trash my name.
