Custom gauge cluster faceplates
I know there have been discussions on getting custom faceplates (not Stickers) done but can't seem to dig up the old thread.
I came across a thread on another site where they had some made up for the E46M3. For you guys interested it may be worth giving the guy a ping to see if he would share his contact info. http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=544987

I have 2 contacts that can make these, oNE is in Ontario the othe in Poland. The Ontario guy is super busy and the other needs a high resolution scan of the plates. I didn't want to take a part my cluster incase I screwed it up some how, so if I get a spare I'll be making these for sure.

Duuuudeeee. Red cluster would be sick to have in my car. Definitely interested as long as price isnt ridiculous.

Got a hold of the Ontario guy and he's willing to do them now, cost roughly $200+hst & shipping. Now the only problem is they need an M cluster or gauges and they just realized how hard it is to source these so we're back to square one until a cluster is sourced.

If you are thinking of supplying your cluster I already offered mine if it was put back together but they refused. They don't want to be responsible if they break it, but he did say he'd take just the face plates, so I was going to take mine apart when the car goes into storage for the winter.

@ Cyc ------ that's what I was thinking too.
 I'd love to have some red gauges. Between the two of us, we should be able to get this to happen. I've had my gauges out to paint the surrounding housing. Mind you I haven't pulled off the faces yet. Yanking the needles is the only thing that I believe you have to be very careful about. |
