Already time for another front bumper respray
I cant help it and I try so hard to be careful. Damn fangs. $500 to fix and paint plus about $70 for those damn clips that I always break when removing. pain in the ass.

Xpel - their Ultimate film is a self healing film which I have had on many of my previous cars. Since my M coupe already came with a few rock chips and blemishes I'm skipping on the bra…but if I ever repaint, bra is going on the car.

You get what you pay for......
I can tell you that the 3M Invisashield Clearbra is the most cost effective way to keep your paint pristine. No rock chips or scratches on the front end. This even after 25+ track weekends over the last three years.... |

I'm lucky, I got my knackered-up fang fixed for $100 a few years ago. The guy who does all the lease turn-in touchups for the local (huge) BMW dealer does private work for dirt cheap. $100 included r&r'ing the bumper, sanding/filling the fang, and respraying in a paint booth with proper Interlagos blue paint. I about crapped when he quoted me only $100. And the work was impeccable.

True but clear bra wouldn't really help with fangs or any damage resulting from bottoming out. It's more for rock chips.

Another reason I love my bags. Resprayed the front once installed a lip, drive 400 miles a week and still perfect. When I got the car though the previous owner beat the crap out of the front bumper and under tray. Comes with the territory with long nose sports cars.
