Z4 M standard rims tyre sizes

Anyone know if the Z4 M will take 265/40's instead of the standrad 255/40's on the rear?

Yes ... they will fit but you will be at the upper limit of the 18x9 stock wheels. 265/40's are designed to run on rim width's of 9"-10.5". I have them on my 18.9.5 CSL reps and they are fantastic!

Cheers,

I had 275s in the rear and the car felt like a different car. Corners were amazing.

My 245/40/18 seem real close to rubbing my fender liner.
Would 255/35/18 be better? would that -5 in hieght make a difference although its wider?
so I would have 275/35/18 rear and 255/35/18 front, is this ok?
Does it mess with the staggering?
What about Rake? Do our cars have Rake that needs to be maintained?
