Anyone looking for a nice driver? I have a 2006 MCoupe with 105,000 miles. Bought it from my race car builder who just did cooling system and rod bearings within 5,000 miles. I then replaced the suspension and tires. Had the wheels refinished, had steering wheel redone in Alcantara and a new headliner. Then had every little plastic piece in this car that breaks with age replaced.
Car has been resprayed and it a okay job. Car has been damaged in the back end and repair by a previous owner so may never be a collectors piece(I said the same thing about a E30 M3 I had with 46k miles on it and I sold for $19k. 2 years later sold for $58k so what do I know?)

In central NC and clean title in hand.
$25,000

Fantastic deal. No brainer for sure.

Can I ask who did the wheel and what shift knob that is?

Sorry for the slight derail.

Cobywheel.com did steering wheel and a great job!

Shift knob is stock ordered from BMWNA.

So someone please explain to me…
I see quite a few E46 M3's with similar mileage and much worse condition now being listed(and some sold, I assume) for over $30k and I can't get $25 for a more rare example of same drivetrain and much more likely to become collectible?

Oh well,

Still available.

I think it's fantastic deal considering the maintenance work you've done to it, just be patient and make sure it's listed widely.

Good thought.

Didn't think it looked bad at all but may be worth trying.

Thanks

Needs better photos too to show the condition. There are lots of videos on taking photos like these ones from cars and bids:

One

Two

I agree that a $250 interior/exterior and engine bay detail including clay bar goes a long way too. Can also be done DIY with the help of some cheap products (2 buckets, grit guard, microfiber wash mitt, microfiber towels, car soap, clay bars, spray wax) and some youtube videos like those from AMMO.

Could maybe be a little more detailed in the listing about the spec of the car, the condition, and when the maintenance/repairs you talk about were performed.

Another vote for doing a good detail, taking some good photos and videos and then put it up on Cars & Bids or Bring A Trailer. This is an owner's forum, so you're currently listing to a small pool of people, and many already have the car they want.

Just be sure to be engaged with your listing wherever you post it. The more effort you put in, the better your results will be.

Thanks for all the input! It's greatly appreciated. Guess I'm just not the guy who should own classic(future classic) cars, I'm too lazy,

You guys seem to miss the point I guess. I'm not a collector or a car show guy. I bought this car and all cars to drive. I have this at what I think is a fair price for a good solid car. Could it be detailed and professional photo shoot and dancing girls? Yes. But I'd rather pass a great solid car along without a ton of fan fair.

No doubt I'm a better buyer then seller. I figure I'll answer any questions and offer video inspection or anything else but really likely to lazy to do all this work to sell a car that will only go up in value and be a classic soon.

Thanks for all the feedback, it's appreciated and I may get off my ass and get it detailed and all.

I do appreciate the mentality that you are trying to convey but I don't agree with your assessment that you 'shouldn't own future classic cars'; I agree with the others when they say a proper detail and more photos will go a very long way to help your sale.

There was a similar Z4MC (~100k driver) that was sold on BaT recently for approximately your asking price: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2007-bmw-m-coupe-13/

Maybe 100+ photos isn't quite necessary, but more would surely help.

It really does look like a great driver and I am very surprised that it is still available at its price. Best of luck
