the m3 csl is a suped up m3 from bmw. the wheels that people are refering to when they say csl are on thee m3 csl. Zcp is a competion package. they sell csl style wheels, but the widths of the wheels are different.

Simple answer: ZCP has .5 in narrower real wheels. The rest is the same.

Perhaps more significant - the M3 CSL was not sold in the US, so the wheels were never officially sold here. The ZCP is a lukewarm version of the M3 CSL for the US market (CP means competition package). CSL wheels are hard to source and expensive (mine were shipped from the UK). ZCPs are the same quality and construction and can be found much cheaper from your local dealer.

I bought mine via eBay.uk, but in my opinion, just get the ZCPs. I was all gung ho about my M Coupe early on, had to have the ultimate OEM wheel, but a year later I don't think the extra half-inch of tread up front is that big a deal; certainly not worth paying double the price of the almost identical Competition wheels.

ACTUALLY... it's the FRONT wheels that are .5" wider... 8.5 vs. ZCP's 8". Rear has same part#, afaik.
