Odd sized tires?
Hey everyone, new to the forum but not the z, had her for 3 years now. Got a question on tire size that no one else seems to be running. They are 275/40/18 and 235/45/18 on a set of vmr v703's 18x8.5 et 35 and 18x9.5 et 22. The car is on kw v3's adjusted to their highest setting, so about a .5 inch drop. The rears are rubbing a bit on the fender liner. I was wandering how much camber front and back would be needed to clear everything. The car is a dd with some spirited driving most days.
I like the look of thicker tires so I'd rather not go thinner. |

I don't have an answer to your problem, but I just ordered some wheels that are the same size and was considering an "odd sized" tire combination. Could you post some pictures of this combination? If you didn't have it lowered do you think you would still be rubbing?

Interesting sizing. You could always trim the fender liner a bit if you'd rather not mess around with your alignment settings.
