So now the question is what hardware should I buy? I will not be using any spacers.
For studs I'm between TC Kline (81mm) and bimmerworld. Bimmerworld sells 3 levels: standard (75mm), race and premium race (82mm). I found this thread by o-cha which is why I was looking for bullet nose studs, rather than the kind that have a hex key on the end. For lug nuts I really like the Kics R40 because they have floating seats. The only issue I have is that intgr8r in this thread says that they hide his 90mm studs entirely, so i'm thinking they might be too long for 82mm studs. Next smallest size appears to be R26 which are too short. I heard good things about muteki lug nuts, but it doesn't seem anyone else has the floating seats of the Kics. Thoughts?

Thanks Ian!
Any thoughts on the lugs, do you think the R40s will look ok with 82mm studs?

Don't forget to update the mod journal after. I'm interested to see the new studs, since I've been contemplating the same. And those wheels are going to look fantastic.
