Insurance Premiums on M Coupe

Just curious to see what everyone is paying for premiums on the M coupe. I'm paying $119 per month comprehensive w/$500 deductible through State Farm.

Wow! that is cheap. I should probably raise my deductible, seeing how the only time Im going to file a claim is if it is a total loss

Just a word of advice when buying insurance. "Good and cheap are mutually exclusive..."

I had a total loss on my previous Z4M and it just renforced that it is worth every penny, even if I pay a few pennys more.

If it makes you feel better, I was paying 230/month (almost 3k per year!) till recently (25/male) - I switched to Liberty Mutual's BMW performance insurance and it runs about 150/month.

I went from ~$100/mo on my Z3 (had an accident about 18 months ago with that one) to $150/mo for the Z4, Complete coverage + $1000 deductible through Geico. Haven't really shopped around though. Jophish17, what benefits do you get from the "BMW" insurance?

For the record, I think I'm getting fu**ed on this deal.

I dont think it does anything. I believe they just pay for the advertising. I purchased another new car last year, and with my documentation, they had a pamphlet from Liberty Mutual stating I could get "special" rates with this manufacturer. Out of curiosity, I called, and they were higher than anyone else.

I recieved the same offer....very high rates for me.

100/month for full coverage with 500 deductible I believe. Through Wawanesa. Same price and coverage as my e36 m3. I'm 24.

Geico quoted me 1200/6months...

I have only ever had one ticket and went to traffic school for it.

Weird.

I also thought it would be much higher...as soon as I got the quote I bought it immediately. I don't have a high deductible or low limits either...only difference is I have a coupe

an obscene amount.

24...suspended several times because of point accumulation.

25 will do wonders for my insurance premium.

Wow, rates are so cheap in the US.
I'm 22 with a perfectly clean record and I'm at $265/month with full coverage & $1000 deductible.
