Strange Helicopter-Like Sound

I have automatic transmission or Steptronic. Could it be something else but not the transmission?

None of the above. It was the AC fan that was making the noise
AC and heat were on toward the windshield for clarity

I was about to replace the engine thinking it was connecting rod bearing issue at the pistons.
