Different type of muffler delete (3.0Si)

First of all sorry , no video , yet.

So i was thinking what made some muffler delete work and some don't and my conclusion was that i should avoid the "horn" effect by going into large diameter piping as well as to keep some back pressure.

so i asked the best local shop to build me a Y adaptor into a 2.5" single pipe and than another Y into dual tips.

The reasoning was that the 2.5" pipe with dual Y's attached to it should keep some back pressure.

I am VERY happy with the results. the car sounds amazing with a deep bass tone , it's loud but not obnoxiously loud and there is not a lot of drone (most of it is in the 3.2K RPM region). if you get off the gaz and just cruize you can't hear the engine at all.

to summerise - i think the muffler delete sounds better than any cat-back around , at least the ones i have. also most cat-back systems are with similar drone and i have had some that even droned much worse.

love it

Nice install. What's the length of the straight section between the Y adaptors?

What exhaust tips did you use?

Those look very nice. I am currently searching for some rolled tips or beveled tips for my exhaust conversion.
