lol as the title sais, if anybody has a way to take or has pics of how their M is assembled in the rear, I’m interested in any pics you have, this will include mounting of the active charcoal filter and mounting of the exhaust cans, need to see how the inner mount is attached to the car and also any brakets that are back their holding stuff. this is all under the car, detailed shots are needed. if you own a lift and have time to take some shots I’m willing to pay you to find out some info, it’s hard to find an M-z4 for study where I’m located and would love to have your help if you can.

please let me know if you can help me out in this matter! thanks again yall!

yes but their are some things that are incorrect on real oem.com like look at the mufflers for the M.....they show the hangers mismounted the mounts should be swaped, and on others some brakets are just floating and does not show where they are suposed to go, and third some pics on realoem.com show non M parts like for the heat sheilds they show I and SI z4 heat sheilds not M so sometimes it can be a little hard to tell where things go.

thanks for the link very usefull but the main sole of all my greife is that darn fuel carbon filter cover, that little black difuser looking thing in the very back center, its always in the way im having trouble seeing how the fuel carbon filter is mounted and the fuel carbon filter braket holder (the black U shaped frame) is mounted.

and right around that area their is a small black braket known as a bow, its a small braket that is mounted on either side and has a single raised mount on it. all the issues are pretty much right dead center of the rear of the car, and a close up shot of how the inner can brakets mount to the sheet metal or if their is a secondary braket of some kind.

you guys rock and thanks for all your help. the project is coming really well and everything is working out except for all this reverse engineering stuff. but trying to keep it as OEM as possable wihout the use of back yard enginnering......

again thanks guys!
