Aftermarket TPMS Sensors - Any Experience
Ovr the years I have come to accept that, if I buy a quality machine, I should buy replacement parts from the manufacturer. But almost $400 is sticking in my craw for the tpms sensors. I see mention of aftermarket sensors available, but my search has not shown any experience with them. Does anyone have experience with either the Huf/Bera sensors or the Mechunik sensors? What do you think?

I just installed a set of Titan TPMS sensors on my Summer wheels so I won't be able to tell you anything until Spring. OE Wheel Distributors assured me that the normal relearn process is all I need to do to activate the TPMS. The kit came with everything and installation was a breeze. Here's a link to the TPMS for an '07 Z4MC:

I've had two sets of the sensors from Tire Rack and haven't had a problem with them.

I ended up buying the Huff/Berra sensors from BavAuto before I saw the post from Rekla. It is too long ago now, but I think I paid something like $324--could be off. Installed two with new front tires several moths ago, the second 2 when I had my wheels refinished only a few weeks ago. Something goofy there, my tire guy had no problem with the first two, wheel refinisher had to buy four new stems! I think he just screwed up, but I was too far out of the loop to complain. So far, only a few weeks on all 4, but no issues.
