Advice needed: Looking to buy E85 Roadster (non M)

So I'm thinking of buying non M Roadster and want some advice on which engine, trim, options I should be looking at and most importantly what I should stay away from. I've see some 2003 2.5i with some wired ass seats so don't know those are but they look plastic? Anyway it needs to need to be automatic and I'd like to get one with options that are desirable for resale purposes since I'll most likely only keep the car only for 1 summer.

Thanks in Advance

Ya wants a 3.0si with premium and sport package. Power heated with memory m sport seats, Bluetooth, power top, xenon lamps, oem hard wind deflector (may be standard on a Canadian car along with folding mirrors), auto with paddle shifters and sport button. I’d look at July 2006 and later to avoid the sticky steering. Not sure what year they corrected the noisy but harmless valve issue but 2008 model year should have that addressed.

Good luck!

Yup, I had that setup except it was the 6sp and non m sport seats, which I thought were a little bit more comfy than the m seats.

I think you will want the 3 litre and 6 speed whether M54 or N52.
I have a manual top and really I don’t think I would see any benefit to a power top. Plus less weight and less to go wrong.
If you like the tunes while driving the Professional 10 speaker audio system is quite good in the roadster. I am no audiophile but sounds darn good.
I have a non sport model so can’t speak to that.
