The sport button on my Z4C 3.0si made a difference in steering feel.

From the manual when in sport mode:
"Power steering is adapted to further enhance contact with the road surface."

Yes, and unfortunately it also alters the throttle mapping. I never touch it these days.

How's the rear visibility in the coupe? Any blind spots? I think they are beautiful and might buy one one day but I've never driven one. I opted for the X5 vs. X6 because of the rear visibility.

Not good...There's no getting around that failing. Blind spots? Yes...quite a few.

Yep - kinda dodgy. I make sure my side view mirrors are angled out far enough to (mostly) eliminate problems to the side. My biggest issue is the view out the back. I've tried different angles on my rearview mirror but I often can't see above the hood of cars behind me (particularly here in Tx with the high % of fullsize trucks/suvs)

I had an issue a few weeks back with an LEO moving though heavy traffic came up behind me (no siren) and I could NOT see his light bar at all - just the flashing headlights and his grill. Scared the crap out of me.
