What size RE-11's?
All,
I'm looking to replace the tires on my car, and I'm cross shopping between Michelin PSS and the Bridgestone RE-11. I'd like to go the RE-11 route, however, they do not make the rears in OEM size. Anyone running these tires and what size did you use for the rears, using the stock wheels? How did it affect the handling/balance of the car? Thanks! |

When I bought my 3.0 si coupe(at 77000 km), there was Bridgestone Potenza(the original tires from the begining) on it and they have baloons both on the fronts. The pre-owner of my car said me that bridgestones are not tough tires enough for this car. So I investigated to find better ones and I was recommended Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric or Prelli P Zero. I couldnt find Goodyear at the size of my tires so I bought Pirelli P Zero. Rears are 255/35/18 and front 235/40/18. I'm very happy with them but I didnt have any experience others -specially Goodyear. I think Goodyear is better because its price is more than Pirelli.
