If TheLinux is still wondering about installing an M wheel on a car with paddle shifters, yes, it can be done. I had that done for my car at the local dealer. As I recall, they had to drill a couple of holes in the M wheel to mount the paddles. They used the holes in the original wheel as a template.
Cheers!

Haven't posted in this thread forever..
Suzi is still alive but haven't done much besides regular 0w40 oil changes. Someone took a pic of her at a meet lately. He needs to work on his skills though |

I was actually ready to purchase KW suspension but started a new job recently.
My new employer has speed mountains in the parking lot. Probably the biggest speed bumps I have ever seen. My beater 3 series is on Koni with H&R and has trouble passing them without hitting the bottom. Haven't tried the M yet but I guess Emma would scratch as well. So my car choice is already limited to the higher clearance X or Z. |

Same car as mine, 04 3.0i 6MT but yours looks nicer with all the mods you've done. Nice work. Got a couple questions:
-What's the sound generator upgrade? -Did you find a writeup to swap 04 xenons to 05-08 halogen housing? Buying a pair of 05 xenons is way out of my price range |

However to enhance the cabin sound, you can modify/remove the two different foam pieces. I took the larger piece out --> car sounds AWESOME when you hit accelerate hard but no difference while cruising speed. |

Moving the Xenon interior in the halogen housing was a royal pain. Could be related to my fat fingers as well. You need to remove the reflectors and all part from the housing.. The problem is you need to work from the inside out.. Best view is through the glass. That said, it was worth it.. I had a write up from a german blog on that. |

Suzi is gone.
She stays in the family since I sold her to my Sister and brother in law a few weeks ago. One of the last pictures before she left She was awesome in every aspect but I needed the garage spot. |
