Back with BMW in a 2007 3.0Si Coupe!

Happy to be back in a BMW, haven't owned one in a few years. Traded my 2011 MINI Cooper S for this 2007 3.0Si Coupe. Always wanted a Z Coupe, loved the MINI but I sell them for a living so I won't miss it.

Wish it was a Sport but it was priced right and in IMMACULATE condition. 21k miles, not a scratch or ding. Alpine on Black with Aluminum.

Absolutely hate the Navigation and lack of bluetooth/iPod, this needs to be fixed.

The wheels belong on a 328i, this car is begging for a nice set of OE wheels. I'll figure something out but shoot me suggestions.

Other than that, nothing.

Nice looking car. Welcome.

A couple of things. Your car should most certainly have Bluetooth. Look for a bluetooth passkey in your manuals(it comes on a card) or if it is not there you find it on the BT module in the trunk. Second, there are several iPod connectors you can get(which fully integrate and will display track info on your Nav screen) from OEM BMW to USA spec to Intravee. In the meantime there is an Aux-in connector you can use on the sloping panel underneath the HVAC controls.

Have fun!

For bluetooth if you hold down the talk button on the steering wheel it should say something like "searching" on the radio display. If nothing happens, then your TCU might be faulty, which is a common thing to go bad on our cars apparently. But since it seems you work at a dealer you might be able to get a new one for a good price. Search the other threads here on the forum for ways to get the passcode number from the TCU unit in the trunk so that if it does pair, you have the code handy.

Anyways, welcome back to BMW's! I remember how good it felt to get back into them, I took a long break from '98 to '08, but have been back since and it feels great!

Oh, and nice car!

Your description about the wheels belonging on a 328 is spot on. When I had my 3.0si I had the same wheels, and I always wanted to change them out.

I think these wheels look good if you want to stay OEM.

Thanks! Figured out it has Bluetooth thanks to you, figured out I'm lacking an owner's manual thanks to you, and figured out I'm too lazy to find the BT module so I'll put it on the GT1 tomorrow.

I'll price out the OEM through the dealer. Think the Intravee is worth it?

Everyone who has the Intravee says it is the best(it is pretty expensive though). I considered it as it will display song names even on the non nav radio. I have the OEM unit and it works well, but I have a hiss all the time which I have not been able to track down. Others have not said they have this issue.
