CPO question
I dropped my ///M Roadster off at the dealer on Friday for scheduled maintenance and a few minor repairs, one of which is that both my side view mirrors have discoloration at the bottom, especially the passenger side mirror. I have read many posts here about the auto dimming fluid leaking in these mirrors. The service writer claims it's the mirror heating fluid. Hmmm.... But anyway, the point of this thread is that they tell me that mirror replacement is NOT covered under CPO, but would have been covered under factory warranty. Has anyone else here attempted to get mirror replacements under CPO?

Yes it would have been. They covered more minor and rediculus items for me under my warranty. If you're paying out of pocket, I would save my money and shop around. Maybe even send the mirrors out for repair. I know radar-mirror site fixes the rear view mirror discoloration issue for pretty cheap. Look around
