This might sound horrible, but I see it as increased rarity/value of survivors, and knowledge to a potential buyer for that car.

I'd never wish anyone to crash their car or hurt themselves though

I wonder if some of these NA cars may show clean but some of them may be canadian cars who don't report total losses through the same channels.

Possible, even with USA cars, but some search is better than none. This looks through stolen records and carfax records. I wish more people were helping on this project

by accident i had copied in a tracking number for a package into the VIN search...package turns out to be NON-Totalled so thats nice... besides that I did 4 roadsters, started from the bottom just incase someone was doing them at the same time for me.... Tomorrow i'll do some Moupes

It worked for me this morning. I did my car and 5 more.

I didn't hear back from the company that runs the website. I hate it when a company doesn't even have the common courtesy to reply, even if they're not interested in doing it.
