///M Coupe or ///M Roadster?
So as i am on my hunt again for a Z4 ///M, I have been offered a good deal on a M Coupe.
My car of choice has been the roadster from the onset but now with this coupe offer, i am confused. My question is why did you buy Coupe and not a roadster? OR Why did you buy the roadster and not the coupe? Both the Coupe and Roadster i am looking at are black but there is a major price diff between the two. The roadster is more expensive but the Coupe is specced better. Thanks |

Don't like the shape of the roadster compared to the coupe.

i wish sometimes i got the coupe for looks. but then take a highway run at 120 with the top down. it is a different feeling. top down motoring FTW

I'm hardcore roadster guy but I regret that I didn't get a coupe for Z.
I want to get a coupe and mod is so badly.. But if CF roof wasn't available for the coupe I wouldn't even consider it for a second. |

I bought the coupe because you don't see them as often and the chassis is stiffer. But, I knew I would probably be picking up a roadster at some point for my wife so I really didn't sweat the decision too much

Coupe cause I don't like how the roadster looks, it was a bit cheaper and it is more rare. I see roadsters around all the time but hardly ever see a coupe!

Since I don't track my car the roadster is more fun for me...especially around the FL and So. AL beaches. I think they both look awesome with color being more important to my preference.

Ive read there is not a difference in chassis for the two,
Remember this is a convertible car to begin with not a coupe turned vert like most other drop tops, Ive driven both, The coupe feels like my car with the top up, plus those nights driving around with the top down in the summer heat just can't be beat, Also the roadster is lighter (just HAD to throw that in)

okay personally i like the roadster styling more than the coupe. And nothing beats the top down on a gorgeous like was previously said. I guess it depends on your location. But i can tell you want the roadster b/c why else would you consider a less equipped car that costs more.

I'm just going to say I like the wind in my hair as well... that is why I got a motorcycle that will leave the Z in the dust for a fraction of the price.

And with Chicago weather, top down times don't come around that often. When I see a roadster, it's rare the top is down, and if it is I often think "I wouldn't have it down in this." I like roadsters, but ths isn't the place for one, imo. |

i think the coupe looks sexier and i dont think id have the top down at all hours of the night on my way home from work/partying/whatever so really i have no need for a vert...

Coupe looks better, is more rare (especially the M). The roadster has tons of blindspots with the top up.

I'm in Michigan so I really take advantage of summer. I think that I have put less than 200 miles of top-up weather in the 7,000 miles I have driven this spring/summer. |

coupe - more masculine, better lines, less on the road.
but its true, the coupe has alot of blindspots, not so bad when changing lanes, only when backing out of a parking spot. just don't peel out |
