this is subjective... I prefer Z4 M roady cuz I think it is much sexier than the coupe. you are buying the car for yourself, not for others; so why would it matter as long as you like it.

why not just assess this on where you live. i only drive weekends in norcal and never ever drive without the top down so not interested in a coupe at all. but if youre tracking it or live in a rainy area, get a coupe. good luck

If where u live have a decent length summer then buy the roadster otherwise go for the coupe. Personally though i can't justisfy the cost for the coupe, there are just too many coupes out there that are better and cheaper. (Covette, Cayman s, ect...)

+1. Also, no offense to you guys with roadsters but i think it is more girlish to have a roadster. it will be louder inside and i was concerned about somebody slitting the cloth top.

Even more confusing - how's the Cayman better than the M Coupe, but the Boxster isn't better than the M Roadster?
In my opinion, the Ms are great bang for the buck if you're looking for a mid-range German sports car. It's cheaper than the Boxster/Cayman while being as fast or faster, and beats the non-AMG SLKs hands-down for performance, though it's not as nice inside as either. |

I'm more of a fan of the roadster/coupe interior over the merc or the porsche. Nice, tidy, simple... exactly what a roadster should be. Unlike he merc and the porsche with all of the buttons, flashing lights, screens, they're both just a little too busy for my liking.
