Aero?
Was looking at some aftermarket parts and I noticed that websites differentiate between Aero and non-Aero models for our cars. What's the difference?

Beautiful Z's Chuck!
That 2nd shot does a great job showing off how aggressive the aero side skirts are. Definitely a future mod for my M coupe.

Chuck I, In your 3rd pic (nose to nose) your nonM sits lower then the M. Has the nonM been lowered, sport suspension, or factory height? Thanks. BTW the car looks great with the aero package/color combo.

The Sterling Gray Z4 has had the Dinan S1 package put on it... It has The Koni struts and springs... so it's been lowered a bit... For some reason, Dinan had to produce custom rear springs for this car because the first 2 sets they put on made the car sit like a dragster... Chuck I

Well, Chuck_I has already said his Z4 is lowered, but even in stock forms, the regular Z4 sits lower than the Z4M by about 0.5".

True, and the sport package model is 0.5" lower (my understanding) then the standard Z ride height. The difference in height appeared to be much greater then 1" between the cars and I wasn't sure if that was a result of the camera angle/ground or an actual ride height difference. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any mention of Chuck I's Z4 being lowered in this thread.

Oh man... I put the StrongStrut on right away. I did that because I did notice a difference when I put the Dinan Strut on the Z4.. I really do like the Aero side skirts I have on the Z4, so I am trying to make up my mind whether to move those over to the M or just get another set. Then I'm going to look at the suspension. I spent way too much money doing the Dinan S1 package on the Z4... so on the M, I'm going to had this done locally... on and on... it never stops..... Chuck I
