No respect!
Went downtown today to get lunch. Picked a HUGE parking spot in the middle of nowhere, come back 10min later and some a**clown gave me a nice quarter size door ding right in the middle of my passenger door. Just enough to draw attention when the sun hits it.
Anyone got ideas on a DIY pop-out? Thanks. |

I actually used a Simoniz dent removal kit that my dad got online several years back for about $25. I used it on my 5'er for a dent that was about the size of a dime and it worked VERY well. It didn't take the dent out completely but it did about 90%.
That being said, there are some very good paintless dent repair places that shouldn't charge you more than $100 to remove a simple dent with no paint missing.

cheap and easy. I've witnessed this work on my friend's charger.
this only works if the dent isn't deep and doesn't have a crease, just like he said in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILVWPzO_swY i don't know how to embed...sorry

I live in downtown Chicago and wherever I go people are constantly hitting my doors. I recommend just spending the extra money on a PDR guy.

I second that recommendation.
Consult a professional PDR specialist instead of trying to do a hack job yourself. You can often make matters worse when you don't know what you are doing. Make no mistake, PDR might look easy but it is not for the inexperienced.

People got balls. Every time I park my car in a public lot, or a garage, I always try to find a spot closest to the wall for my Z4, therefore giving people maximum room to park. But that's just not good enough they still have to park on top of your ass and hit the door when they get out of their car. I have a slight dent in my passenger door that is noticeable like yours when the sun hits it on an angle... Bastards

That sucks, call Queen City Autorebuild in Redmond or Metropolitan Detail, they should be able to provide a good place to take care of the ding.
