08 Z4 side light on, will it go off??

I accidentally hit the side turn signal stalk before I closed the door and LOCKED it leaving the car at the car shop over night. Will that light go out eventually or is it on till someone gets in car and hits the turn signal stalk to the middle again? The spare key is at my moms house and I really don't want to go get it. Will this being on for 8-10 hours drain a battery?

Mine was on for about 4 hours with no problem but that long idk.

Europeans leave them on overnight. Hopefully you'll have a Merry Christmas...!

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
