Any affordable lifts that lift by the jack pads?

It'd make more sense for winter storing a car too as it takes the pressure off the wheels.

pbdm4k, I used to think that too... but I've read some posts that make mention about adding extra stress to your suspension components by lifting the wheels off the ground. And after taking a good look at the car up on a lift it looks like the suspension is designed to be loaded.
