2006+ passenger seat sensor disable ncexpert
Just attempted to disable my passenger seat sensor, car has an ACSM module I set OC3 to nicht_aktiv and unhooked the 3wire sensor. Cleared errors and I'm left with just these two issues.
ista/d shows the seat sensor module in red now, and the airbag module reports 1 fault 93D7 Internal Control Unit Fault. When I did this on my mini's it stopped checking the seat module. and returned no errors. anyone have any ideas?

Pretty sure you can't just code it out. There is a pax seat sensor simulator that ... Apperently.. acts like the sensor still works, resulting in no red light on the dash.. does it actually work?? Nfi.. I haven't got around to install it..

You can code it out. I'm no expert on that software, so I hired "CodeMyCar" to do it for me. Very reasonable pricing and they can do it remotely via your laptop. The owner, Okee, was very easy to work with and coded out my broken passenger occupancy sensor and cleared all the fault codes. Now I have no warning lights, and best of all my airbags are back working again. If by some chance I need to turn off the passenger airbag, I'll use the key switch on the passenger side of the dash. Best money I ever spent and sure beats the dealer cost to replace that damn sensor, which would most likely break again in a few years!

I'm doing this from memory, sitting in the front seat as he was working, so this may or may not help. The coding was done with the occupancy sensor plugged in. Then he had me turn the car off and unplug the sensor. Then we cranked the car back up and he went in and cleared the codes. I "think" that was the procedure, again, trying to recall it from memory a while back. Hope you get it worked out.
