Anyone have a weight estimate for an oem door? Cf interios door cards with pull handles ala gt3 would really round out the package

Maybe someone could contact Ron Stygar over on Bimmerfest and see if he can find the shell weight in his vast material ? Otherwise, we'll have wait til I have them stripped down to weigh.

tc kline sucks ass in the customer service department..... jerks tried to sell me a trunk that was CF but had a primer patch on it cuz someone decided they would use the cf trunk as a painted surface.....originally the trunk was listed at 1200 but then they wanted an additional 400 to bring up the primer from the cf......plain ass'ery if you ask me.


cant wait for twisted six to make doors :-)

Losing 2/3 mass weight by going full CF isn't enough ?

It is the general rule of thumb vs. steel.

Not to mention stronger than steel and more impact resistant with inner Kevlar impact bars.
