This is what M cars are for! (tracking) I like that you are spending money on necessities and not trying to turn it into a different animal with a lot of mods. Use your money for more track events. Enjoy the driving and don't worry about the few that will always be faster. I would love to do Laguna Seca (but I have done the Glen.)

Thanks for the read(s)! I agree the car is meant to be used and I am fortunate to have great roads and tracks in my area. I got into the Z4M to take myself out of the mod crazy world that was the FRS/BRZ/GT86 and focus more on experiences.

Cool article and thanks for sharing. Having driven a Z4M coupe since 2007 (not a a DD), I'm still surprised at how much attention it gathers almost a decade later. While that can be annoying, the sound of an S54 at 8K RPM is not, and doing so will not automatically mean jail time. A keeper, then.

Nice write up and I am glad you are enjoying the Z4M Coupe. It truly is a great drivers car in the old school'ish sense. I've had mine since Oct 2007 and with 90K on the clock, over 120 track events and preventative maintenance along the way (including 2 sets of rod bearings) it still brings a smile to my face every time I get behind the wheel.
