Proper Spacer/Wheel Combo
Looking for the correct spacer for my 18x8.5 et47 front wheels with 235x45-18 tires that get a little inside rubbing on hard left turns. Currently using 10mm pieces.
Any suggestions?

Consider this just a data point. On the OE front wheel a 235/45-18 PSS very lightly rubs inside at full lock using a 10mm spacer. Keep in mind the PSS is very wide in the tread.

Suspension is stock. Ok, thanks m5m3mc. Which direction should I go with the spacers? I'm thinking I should try 5mm which are on hand.

If you're rubbing on the inside using 10mm, wouldn't 12 or 15mm be a better choice to push the wheel more outboard than using 5mm to get closer to inboard?

Yes, you're right. Been under the weather lately and haven't even pulled a wheel to see exactly where it's rubbing. I'll most likely have to order 12 or 15mm for the fix.

15mm will help a lot. I wouldn't bother with 12mm because you're already 5mm more to the inside than stock (47 vs 42). I spaced out about the tread width...it's most likely the section width that is the problem here and the comment I made was based on stock suspension also.

LOL! Turns out the 235/45-18 fronts needed LESS spacer not more as they were rubbing on the outside. Threw on the 5mm set I had and it's fine. Anyone need a new set of never mounted 15mm at a killer price?

Yes, et47. I think the problem was the staying with 45 instead of dropping down to 235/40. Just a tad too tall.
