Small 2x2" Surface Scuff/Scratches on Roadster Top

Hey all,

I have a bit of a dilemma. I've got these surface scuffs/scratches on the very top of the ragtop that don't go through the entire dimension of the top into the cabin. It's purely cosmetic and only range in about an area of 2x2".

If this is hard to visualize please let me know and I'll post some pictures.

Is there anything I can do to minimize the appearance of this or solve it all together? I was thinking taking it somewhere for reupholstery or just rigging it somehow but I'm not sure where to start.

Any help is welcome,
Thanks.

Here we are:

It looks a lot bigger in the picture but again the longest scratch is less than 2".

Excuse the white dust thats all over it.

Thanks.

Wait...the roadsters have a top?

You shouldn't even know about the scratch, the top is supposed to be down!

Wow, those are pretty deep. Maybe take it to a top/upholstery place and see what they say? Keep to run a sweater shaver over it to get rid of the loose edges to make it less noticeable.

Unfortunately you don't have a lot of options here You can get the scratches sealed, but they make look worse if someone tries to perform work on it.

Unfortunately the only option to bring it back 100% is to replace the top, which is close to $2k with labor.
