3.0 Si - After braking to a stop, revs drop to 500 and car feels like stalling
Some of you may have seen my post about leaking gaskets. So I got the car checked out and the shop said it was only my engine gasket and not the oil filter housing. So I got the gasket changed and did a brake fluid flush and coolant flush at the same time.
For the past few days, as I drive around town, when I come to a stop light, the revs drop to about 450-500 rpms and the car feels like it is going to stall out. It has never actually stalled, but the car shakes and vibrates like it is about to. Other than that, the car seems to drive and perform normally. No warning lights etc have come up. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm taking it back into the indy shop tomorrow, but I'd like to be able to point them in the right direction if it could have been caused by their own doing. I should state I have an auto transmission. Thanks |
