Yes, but a lot of cars have had that shape well before ours: shelby daytona, datsun, and jaguar to name a few.

I like the stats. Is it going to be imported to the US?

Autoblog said yes to US. The stats are mind numbing. The price thus far is attractive for what you get but still pretty pricy. I'd love one just to see peoples' faces when you fill up at the remote diesel pumps! Plus here in Illinois our diesel is high percent bio content which has limited regular diesel cars... Aka to the wording of warranties from BMW, Porsche and Mercedes filling up with IL diesel we can void the warranty.

Very true but not as many in the modern era. Was a more common shape before 1975 or so.

All kidding aside, I really like the way this car looks, and the performance statistics are impressive. Anyone see what the weight is?

curb weight is 2,689lbs

This is also hilarious:
Quote:
A performance upgrade pack boosts output to 930 horsepower and 950 pound-feet of torque. A track performance upgrade pack generates 660 horsepower and a heady 1,050 pound-feet of torque. The track pack also adds a race-spec suspension, beefier clutch and brakes, and paddle shifters, among other features.

That sucks. I hope someone takes them over to keep production going. I sat in one of these at the London car show and instantly feel in love! Absolutely stunning.
