I'm like you. I plan to keep my car forever. (Unless I can find an M version exactly like this one) I've put too much time and money into it to just get rid of it. Plus I just love this convertible.

Next car, about 2.5 years down the road, will need to be something with 4 doors because of the kids. Maybe an M3.
