Solid Wind Deflector Install Question

For those that have installed the oem ‘solid’ (not mesh) wind deflector, I’ve read that it’s nearly impossible to separate the roll hoop covers without breaking the tabs so I should source replacement ones in advance. But is it that both the front and rear covers get damaged or just one?

Thanks, saw that as well. Do you have this version? If so how do you like it?

Yup, that's the one I have. I'm very pleased with it. I leave the deflector in place all the time - I've never felt that I should remove it for better visibility out the back window, like when the top is up, or at night. There are some very nice after market units out there too, but I like this one best.

I’ve had the Roadster Solutions one installed for five years and it’s been great. Great quality, stable into triple digit speeds and easy to install. I never remove it, no need to.
