Cool Strange electrical problems

Problems with my 2007 Z4, with only 50,000 miles
The seat belt beeper beeps when the belts are being used properly.
The clock quit working.
Electric convertible top stopped working.
Now the air-conditioning doesn't work.
Research suggests to me that it's a faulty airbag control module.
I appreciate any suggestions. Mahalo for Malu in Hilo, Hawaii

Could be that. I have some of those symptoms you mentioned (plus a lot more if you read my other threads). Typically these issues only happen while the airbag light is ON in the dash. Once it goes off, radio (clock) comes back on, AC blows cold again, and convertible top functions again (my top motor is dead so when i say "functions", i mean it latches/unlatches the top).

I bought a BMW scanner to read and delete the codes. MY car had 21 (I know..) codes. Deleted all of them but some of them came back. I did this reset about 4 weeks ago and have been driving the car since then to further observe any malfunctions. I have the same symptoms still so i need to figure out the issue, which everything pretty much routes to a faulty airbag module. Some say you should consider cleaning the wiring, perhaps start at the battery and the BST.

If and when I find a solution, I'll post an update. Good luck!

Thanks Captian, I think I"ll remove the airbag control module and see if there are any contacts that need cleaning.
I'll let you know what I discover.
