I got mine last year the same way--with free shipping. You will not regret purchasing these wheels. The finish quality is great and I love the weight savings. I also like the fact that unlike the stock wheels on the M, the 18" Apex wheels will accommodate a StopTech kit if at some point I want to go that route.

What do you mean through "another vendor"? I thought Apex WAS the vendor? Do you mean you purchased from a company that makes a similar looking wheel?

No, I think what he means is that in addition to selling their wheels direct, Apex sells their wheels through other distributors. Sometimes, these other distributors put on promotions (like free shipping) that make buying Apex wheels from them cheaper than buying directly from Apex. However, in the case of the GB currently being offered by Apex, I don't think you will find a better deal out there.

You shipping to the States or back to Canada? I am holding off to see how big it grows but want to jump in. Just don't know what offsets I want! Plus what do I do with my other rims. Might go pending soon.

There are a handful of shops that sell APEX wheels. EAS (site sponsor) sells them too. I purchased mine through another source. Most of them are all in the S. Cali area. If you are patient, go through the group buy.

Really want these new wheels on my car as soon as I can get it out on the MN roads. Even though I WANT that to be late March, realistically it's probably going to be mid to late April anway. So this group buy works for me.
