Advantages Of Not Being First
I already posted this little story on a couple other BMW sites, but thought I would share it with this group. Take whatever lessons from it you will.

Regardless if I'm on a group drive or not, I am never the main person in front speeding.
I like to have another willing driver (which there are plenty of these days) speed in front of me and I'll stay ~1000-2000 ft back and jack-rabbit behind them. Very easy to stay ticket free that way. |

Whenever someone speeds ahead of me to show me "what they can do" I always say
That's it baby take all liability while I use your dumb ass for cover, In fact I'm gonna follow real close see if you can show the LEO up ahead how fast u can go. These are usually loud as hell cars with an oversize wing and tinted windows. Might as well put on a sign that says "Ticket me please I'm an irresponsible idiot"

Just curious... what's wrong with PhotoBucket? I gather you and some of the other forum members are having trouble accessing the story. Just thought I'd try this new functionality, but if there are problems with it, I won't use it again. I can't see the problems from my end.

Thanks for the info... it looks OK in Apple/Safari and Firefox/Google. Sorry for the problem. I'll pull the thread.

Doesn't work correctly on my Firefox/Explorer/Chrome either, with texts getting cut out, can't scroll, etc...

RE: 89
We visited some friends in Surprise last summer and took 89 heading toward Flagstaff. Beautiful drive. Hit 130 on a particularly long straight stretch before the wife started to complain about getting a ticket. I told her they don't give tickets in Arizona if you're going fast enough, you get free overnight accommodations!
