By the time the theme banquet rolls around, the newbies are used (some like it) to the initiation so much they expect it. Pavlovian thing I guess. I like the extra portions of food we get out of it.

Oh, there is no set time for this...it usually happens when Phil, ummm, relieves himself and then comes back to his chair with a thunderous hand clap and says with his GA drawl...."K...lets get on with this shit!" Now, remember most years he gets enough home brew that he is in one of his jovial drunk moods. Otherwise he is one of those obnoxious coots that no one can talk to. Have ya ever seen the movie "Deliverance", where they ask "can ya squeal like a pig?" That is Phil's ugly side and he is too big to negotiate with as well. It must come from the time that he was in the priesthood. Thank gawd that phase is overwith. Phew... Anyway, by the time this is all done, you'll wonder why you came in the first place. But that won't happen until you reach Tennessee.
